This a 128×128 HDSDI router in KMP’s main machine room. KMP’s engineers were very happy with the installation, which we completed over a weekend. The old router was taken out, all old cabling removed and the new router wired up to the patchbays in under 20 hours. If you look closely you’ll see that we’re using Gepco’s VDM 230 HD video cable. We’re using the mini RG59 now on just about all of our installs. If the runs are under 100’, we go for the small stuff because it’s so much easier to dress and takes up about 25% of the space as full size RG59. Plus, it’s rated at 4.5 GHZ! Check it out here!
